If you know or suspect that you've been bitten by a tick, having it tested for specific pathogens can help you determine if you may be at risk for Lyme disease and/or other tick-borne illnesses. Once you've safely removed and/or contained the tick, you can send it directly to IGeneX to test it for various pathogens, including Borrelia burgdorferi, Babesia, Anaplasma, Ehrlichia, Bartonella, and Rickettsia
