3rd Annual Lyme disease Symposium by NE Ohio Lyme Foundation

The NE Ohio Lyme Foundation will be holding its 3rd annual multidisciplinary symposium on Lyme disease. You are invited to join for a day of education and awareness. Lunch will be provided from Panera Bread. Tickets are available online and at the door the day of the event.

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Charles Curie, DVM is a local veterinarian who is passionate about Lyme disease education and awareness.
  • Dr. Elena Frid is a Board Certified Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist from NYC, specializing in Infections Induced Autoimmune Disorders.
  • Dr. Linda D’Eramo practices Functional and Integrative medicine in Pittsburgh Pa, and is devoted to discovering the underlying causes of chronic medical conditions.
  • Dr. Adam Davis, DC from Jefferson, Ohio has a post-doctorate diplomate degree in Clinical Nutrition.
  • Pat Smith is the President of the Lyme disease Association, Inc from New Jersey.
    Robert Giguere will be traveling in from IGeneX Lab Inc. to share information about correct testing for tick-borne diseases. He will cover topics like testing and current trends in Tick borne diseases.
  • Dr. Glen Needham is an OSU Associate Professor Emeritus of Entomology

2019 Lyme Disease Conference at Binghamton University

This conference is intended for a wide audience including primary care physicians, neurologists, health professionals and the general public, confronting the rapid increase of Lyme disease infections in New York State. The conference lectures will increase participants’ knowledge of the risk of Lyme disease and co-infections, tick infectivity and distribution, and the diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne disorders and overlapping medical conditions.

Dr. Kenneth Liegner will be the featured speaker. He has been involved in diagnosis and treatment of Lyme Disease and related disorders since 1988. He is the author of In The Crucible of Lyme Disease – Collected Writings and Associated Materials. He has served two terms on the Board of Directors of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS).
