WEBINAR:

Advantages of using IGeneX for tick-borne disease testing

Highlighting our Advanced ImmunoBlot Technology

Home » Webinars » Advantages of using IGeneX – Highlighting our Advanced ImmunoBlot Technology

OVERVIEW OF THE WEBINAR

The IGeneX ImmunoBlot sets the standard for tick-borne disease testing, and is now available for four diseases: Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia, and Tick-Borne Relapsing Fever.

In this webinar, you will learn how the IGeneX ImmunoBlot uses recombinant proteins instead of proteins from natural sources. Recombinant DNA technology provides a more efficient method to obtain large amounts of proteins. Additionally, by using recombinant technology, IGeneX scientists are able to create DNA sequences that would not naturally exist under normal circumstances, leading to more sensitive and specific tests.
